Folks,

Anyone ever use the compact ACOGs (TA44, TA45, TA47, TA50) small "Picket Line" that is under the the main reticle for holdover on targets beyond 300m?
(Hell, even a guess as to the possibility for use of the picket at extended range would be welcomed by me. :) ) Thank you.

ETA: NOT including the TA33-8 with its ranging reticle.

Are you talking about the ones on the right? If so, I've used them more for close-range holdovers than I have for long-range targets. Out to 200 yards, which is the most I shoot at, I just put the chevron on anything 6" or larger and fire.

Sorry for the incomplete post; it was rather late for me when I posted the thread. I've since edited same. Thank you.

Not I.
Haven't messed with my TA47-2 much past 300m.

Same here. I was just considering "what if...". I will be heading out to a 600m KD soon, though. ;) Thanks for replying.
