That's crazy. Wonder why this came about.

Hodgdon already makes Winchester powde so for example H110 and Win 296 are the exact same powder, although my LGS sells H110 for $28 and 296 for $32, go figure. So I wonder what the plans are for Ramshot/Blackthorn, are they going to run separate lines or just going to find a similar Hodgdon powder and slap the Ramshot name on it, I hope not cause I realluy like TAC.

Really, I just want unlimited amounts of H322, TAC, XBR 8208, and H4350 at good prices. As long as those items don't change, I'll be happy.

The sale is part of the final settlement after Remington filed for bankruptcy in July.

I dont think they would change anything, IMR powders are different, So i expect Accurate and Ramshot to remain independent , ( I hope )

Just picked up some H110, but almost picked up a bottle of ramshot instead.

Loading 110gr .308 Lehigh Defense "Controlled Chaos" into 300 blkout and H110 was the "suggested" Powder. Crazy how just last week I was debating between the two, and now hodgdon owns both lines.

Weren't Win 231 and HP-38 pretty much the same thing too?

I personally would rather we have independent companies rather than all/most of our powder coming from a single conglomerate.

Same. My first thought.... now Bloomberg has an easier target.

XBR8208 is made from ground up Unicorn tumors, but only the ones shaped like Jesus’s face, and blessed by the Space Pope.

I lucked into 16 pounds last year, and it's almost all loaded up... Seriously hoping the pipelines open up again next spring, it's my go to for 77gr TMK, 62gr BTHP, and 55gr FMJ. I can use H322 for precision and TAC for blasting, but the XBR really does it all for me. Loading for rifle really makes pistol powders feel economical. Lol

I’ve been trying to find it for a while. A buddy in the other Carolina says its THE powder for Grendel. I tend to listen to him on such things.

Same here.

The exception to that is my local shops seem to prefer/ be exclusive to Hodgdon powder company so this opens up some possibilities for new powders with out travel or hazmat shipping.
