LMT MRP Standard in piston?

LMT only has a piston conversion kit for the CQB MRP. Will there ever be one for the Standard MRP (rifle)? Or will there ever be an upper Standard MRP with piston as an option?

The piston won't provide much of an advantage for longer than 16"...

From the schematics I've seen, the rifle will work (add barrel to later generation uppers), but would require removing the barrel to adjust the gas system (a nuisance)

I was thinking of staying with the 16" but having the added benefit of the extended rails.
