This has been discussed here ad nauseum. This is not a simple case of a weapon that malfunctioned. He intentionally installed components from an M16A1 rifle into this particular weapon. Furthermore he loaned it to a 17 or 18 year old (after he knew that it fired more than 1 round for every pull of the trigger) who took it to a public range where it fired "auto".

Do some research and you will see that he actually has a history of drawing attention to himself.

I don't think ad nauseum describes the extent of it, but close. Both here and on many other firearm related forums.

Lou Dobbs tried to do a good thing, on CNN of all places, but his reporting was very flawed. The man appeared to be asking for trouble.
