Cool video, cool gun. Jim Sullivan design with the constant recoil. The "Tommy Gun" foregip is interesting. REally modular like a SToner 63.

It’s an Ultimax. Surefire has had Sullivan on the payroll for some time. So this makes sense. But it’s in need of redesign imo. Barrel retaining latch is in a bad location. Handguard is odd and doesn’t really offer much protection. Controls look cumbersome.

Yeah, kinda. Also reminds me of those Knight belt feds but can't remember if they were a Sullivan or Stoner design. Still pretty F'ing cool regardless. Go into production with these and have a 7.62x51 option and lots of improvements would happen.

No, 6ARC for the ultimate hot-ness. :)

I get that if you are shooting semi-auto that the recoileess effect goes away, or is reduced. They kind of imply that in the video when they say if you go to slide lock, you'll nose dive the gun. But, if you are shooting semi, and are splitting in the low teens (0.12-0.15), you are approaching 500 rounds per minute. If you can keep the shooting pace consistent, and long enough, it seems that you'd benefit.

So, basically Jerry Miculek :)

You're right.

I'm wondering if this is doing any testing in upcoming contracts? The complete lack of recoil is sweet though. Love most of the ideas on it actually.

Jerry can get a bit under that iirc. 0.15 isn’t that crazy.
