I'm sure this is already old news but this one report's paragraph tickled me as a shooter.

https://apnews.com/article/france-terrorist-attacks-in-church-155dc69a8c360ea6ed72280b8188f8ab

Police initially used an electric gun then fired their service revolvers. Ricard said 14 bullet casings were found on the ground.

Can civilians carry guns in France? Imagine how secure it would to be a criminal In such an environment.

I would tend to lean towards a mistranslation of "pistol". It is also somewhat common to refer to all handguns as "revolvers".

Jumps out as very strange though, I agree. I suppose it could be two officers carrying 686's and they both had to reload.

Think this will kick off a "Hadgi Lives Matter" movement in France? "He din't do nuffin"

this was also because the week before a teacher was beheaded over a cartoon !

also in our country a reporter was warned by twitter he is breaking pakistany law against muhammad and has given him warning !!!! so think about that twitter is warning US citizens they are breaking pakistan laws against islam !!!!!

been following the story and of course why would they behead people we have no clue but sure sadly the poor peaceful muslims will experience racism towards them over this or some idiocy from the MSM like that ?

Can civilians carry guns in France?

From wikipedia: "No civilian may carry any weapons in a public place. A special form allows a civilian to apply for a 1-year carry license, which allows them to carry a handgun and a maximum of 50 rounds if they are "exposed to exceptional risks to their life". In practice, such authorizations are rare."

A shame. Nice used to be so nice.
In other news, I don't see any mention of the policies that have precipitated this, or the 101 other events not reported, not to mention the growing overall 'situation' in the rest of the country.
Nope just a random 'terrorist attack'.

Monday - knife attacks in Britain
Tuesday - beheadings in France
Wednesday - rapes in Germany
Thursday - grenade attacks in Sweden
Friday - probably some bad stuff in Spain

All part and parcel when living in Europe. And people think the US is bad with the riots.

another attack Priest was shot with a shotgun

The priest, named by French media as Nikolaos Kakavelakis, was shot at twice and seriously injured in the stomach at about 4pm local time on Saturday as he was closing the church in the city’s seventh arrondissement, police said.

I was in Marseilles, France in 1993 and visited a French gun shop. From what I remember all of the rifles were in .270, .280, 7mm/08, .300 Win. Mag., .243, and .222. They had Colt AR-15's and Ruger Mini-14's but they were in .222. The handguns I remember were in .357, .38, and 9x21. Basically anything was o.k. as long as it was not a current or past military caliber. There were also a ton of switchblades and suppressors for sale over the counter. I could have stocked up on cans (if I only knew) .

While I sorta agree, we have St. Louis and Chiraq. The riots are only remarkable if they spread outside the ‘hood.

Yeah, but the questions was 'can they *carry* them', not what might they be able to get as long as it's an oddball re-caliber.

now terror attack in Vienna

Multiple gunmen opened fire in central Vienna on Monday night, killing at least one person and wounding many others, including a police officer, government officials said. They said that one attacker had been killed.

Every time there is a terrorist attack in a European city there is always footage taken by civilian from a rooftop of the terrorists walking down the street shooting innocent people. Your camera in one hand and your dick in the other. That MFer would have been lit up with a mag dump of 556 from cover in my hood.

F*** Europe, its a lost continent. They didnt learn after Charlie Hebdo and the 2015 Paris attacks.

We should stop wasting resources over there. NATO is a useless alliance and we shouldnt lift a finger to help them. They're better off under Putin.

OR they learned they were bad and racist and islamophobic and should bring in more terrorist and do more bending a knee for them as to prove their white guilt is real ?
