I don't think that is on the rise. From what I hear, once you take the floorplates off of the HK mags, they're pretty much impossible to get them back on. I haven't heard anyone from Magpul say they were going to make them. You should get the rubber ones that slip over the bottom of the mag to substitute

We have something designed up but we are not sure the HK market is big enough to have the molds built.

they must be doing it wrong, then. the floorplates are just as easy to remove and replace as a standard floorplate.

The HK mags are already long enough, expensive enough, and heavy enough for my taste. No thanks on the HK Ranger Plates, but I would consider some HK L-Plates just to protect the mag during mag changes.

How much shorter is an L plate than a Ranger plate? Can't be much.

About 0.650" difference.

HK magazine floor plates are not difficult to remove. If you are having trouble I have a PDF manual for the HK magazine. Even with the Gen 2 magazines with the rubber bumper, they are still super easy.

The feed lip area seems to be made of soft metal, I have had one of my seven magazines bend around the feed lip area. I'm not sure what caused it. The magazine still functioned fine, but I bent the metal back to the proper shape when I got home, using needle nose pliers. It now looks identical to the other magazines.
Something to protect the magazines would be great.
