I’m thinking about getting the RMR06 for a G34 Mos for work. On the Trijicon on website it says I need the mounting kit. I am planning on the V4 Defender CHPWS or the FCS plate (haven’t decided yet). Do I still need to purchase the Trijicon mounting kit with the aforementioned plates?

Thanks. New to the RDS on pistols.

You don't it need unless you want the sealer plate for the V4 Defender CHPWS which states - *RMR will require a Trijicon Sealing plate to meet the 66 ft for 1 hour submersion test. The Forward Controls plate does not need a sealer plate and both come with the hardware.

Thanks for the reply. After further research, I will be getting the LE/mil V4 plate instead (no need for sealer plate). I’m also thinking of ameriglo suppressor sights as the irons. For those of you who use the ameriglo suppressor sights, do you prefer the XL height or 2xl?

Thanks

I have a RMR on a G45 mounted with the FCD plate and I installed the Ameriglo GL429 sights. They do not sit as high over the RMR as the milled G19 I have but they work fine as back up sights. I do not know if the CH plate will result in the sight being higher than the FCD plate. If that’s the case you might want to go with the 2x.
