It was nice to speak with you. I have a few questions re: night vision and laser range products and I hope you can steer me in the right direction. I have extensive sniper training in the MK12 platform (SASS) and will be purchasing a weapon / scope shortly from a local vendor. The scope will be a Leupold 3.5-10x40 60015 Mark 4 LR/T 30mm Illuminated TMR w/M3.
1. For the purpose of BOTH range finding and night vision, is there a single product that can mount forward of the scope that will give me the clarity of Xenonics night vision? If not, is there something Gen III that will be awfully close?
2. If I do need 2 separate products, which monocular laser ranger would you suggest? I looked at the Leupold RX-IV Rangefinder and since I have sight in only one eye, is it just as good as the 63325 model?
3. Which front of scope mounted night vision would you suggest? The awfully expensive PVS22 PVS14 models are not an option but I do require shock resistance.
