Aimpoint zero

I have an aimpoint m3 in larue mount and, was wondering if the sight is sighted in on one upper will it affect the zero if it is installed on a different upper? Thanks for any info.

An optic needs to be zeroed for each individual firearm that it is mounted on. It may be close, but you cannot count on it.

If it wouldn't change from rifle to rifle, why would they have adjustment knobs?
