No. 2 types. One flush with rcvr rail and the other lower. This will determine the height of sight you need.

Something like this is what you seek, same height as the receiver flat top.

Be advised, many of of these types of gas blocks are aluminum, you DO NOT want an aluminum gas block. If in doubt, put a magnet on it, if it doesn't hold it is aluminum.

Pretty good explanation why you should avoid aluminum.

the link I posted is steel. I bought a couple about 2 years ago, but yeah, I would stay away from alloy.

Very heartening to see nobody defending an aluminum block. Aluminum has no place as a conduit for a hot fluid.

I like Geissele gas blocks. Pinned for the win!

Yeah, G-man puts out a solid gas block but the OP was looking for one with a picatinny rail.

You said Anderson, so I'm guessing it started life with a pinned FSB? If so, clamp on is your only option. Yankee Hill makes some pretty decent clamp ons with integrated flip up front sights.

Why are you wanting to lose the FSB? Magnified optic, or just a looks thing?

Ah,,I agree ! That's what I get for looking and adding stuff late ! I know that about aluminum also, I just missed that. Thanks for the heads up !
