I'm considering buying this piece but I can't seem to find much info online about it. Anyone have one that would care to share some opinions and/or knowledge about it? It appears to be very solid but I don't want to spend the money on it and then be disappointed. Thanks.

I have no personal use but it looks to be built like a brick shithouse.

I curious as to your application, what are you trying to achieve?

Probably something that could have been done a different way, but.............
The way I mounted my light on my SBR, the head of the light is visible, nearly in the middle of, my EXPS2. I'm going to use the riser on top of the upper to mount the EXPS2 and magnifier on to raise it up.

I was wondering if that was the case, I've seen a couple guys using risers like that then use short rings to keep their scopes real low. I wasn't this setup but similar with their LAB rings

Not sure if you already have magnifier mount (or have G33 for that matter) and are committed down your path, but I'm playing with something similar as you, I think, and this this is what I've come up with:

Good luck sorting it out.

I would 100% go with the unity tactical setup for that.

Having the magnifier flip down to the center instead of hanging off the side at that height will really help with balance and field of view.

I have looked at Unity before - the way that magnifier mount works definitely intrigues me! But I already have my magnifier on a LaRue mount so I think it makes more sense to just get a riser that will work for both.

Kyle Defoor uses that Double Decker, along with individual rings, to mount his LPVO.

unsure how to imbed an IG post here

Prototype BCM buttstock?!

I know bridging the receiver and rail is typically taboo, but with the way BCM’s rails mount I can believe that his scope is staying zeroed.

Looks perfect for taking a scope off your pic railed hunting rifle and getting it to fit on a patrol rifle for precision work.

I have used PRI rail like that on my precision AR so that I could get the scope lower to the barrel with rings and have the rings spaced further out than what you can do with a one piece mount. Also allows you to use more precise rings or higher cost rings. The mount can be pushed forward to hang over the handguard and still be attached to the receiver for more eye relief. My PRI rail allows me to bridge the receiver and hand rail since it has so many clamping rails.

Leupold Mark 1 IMS Rail Mount is much cheaper.

I originally bought a YHM riser similar to that one. The way it was made, I couldn’t mount my magnifier (in its LaRue mount) on it. The mount was contacting part of the base and it wouldn’t mount. Kinda hard to explain.

I received the Bobro Double-Decker I purchased today. It’s built pretty robustly! No problems mounting my EXPS2 or magnifier on it. I immediately realized, though, that I’ll have to practice my head placement to see the reticle. I naturally shouldered it the way I always do and I couldn’t see it! I had to raise my head up a little (obviously, I put a RISER on it) to see it.

The big hinge on the LT magnifier mount is where it was having the issue. I believe it was hitting the mounting lug (whatever you want to call it) of the riser.
No issues with the Bobro riser.

Good data point. I can confirm no issues with the OEM EOTech magnifier mount on the Leupold riser.
