How do you pronounce Lapua? I've heard too many people pronounce this differently, sometimes in ways that make me tilt my head like a dog hearing a high-pitched noise.
what's the correct pronunciation, is it lah-POO-ah? lah-PAW? LOP-wah? lah-WTF?...

I have heard others pronounce it: la POO ah
I don't know if that's right or not.
My money's on "La-pu-ah".
Sounds like he is saying la POO ah to me.
It does sound like La-POO-ah.
It almost sounds like La-Poo, with the ah trailing off.
Maybe La-Poo? with the ah coming just under the breath?

That's the way I've always heard it pronounced.

i've heard it as veeta-vee-oree
The pronounced it "La Pooh Ah" on CSI miami the other night! :D

If you are English, I bet it's lap as in lap dance, LAP-you-uh. This is based on them pronouncing Jaguar as JAG-you-are and aluminum as al-you-MINium :D
Hey I love all things English- cars, bikes, muffins, accents.....
But as one of Finnish descent I'm gonna say LAHpooah where the "pooah" is almost like "pwah". Just my semi-educated guess.
