The Left is SOOOOOO predictable. Really. If you can't see the daily drumbeat of crap for what it is you have a room temperature IQ.

Nearly 7,000 Nuns and Clergy were killed during the Spanish Civil War. Churches burned, saints bodies desecrated, nuns raped on altars.....The Catholic Church Martyred nearly 500 due to their murder by the Reds in Spain.

Nothing to see here....except Leftist scapegoating and marginalization in preparation for mass murder, the usual....

When religion is used to justify extremism it should be called out and condemned. That is what distinguishes our culture and country from previous shameful episodes -- whether we're talking about the Spanish Inquisition, the blind eye many turned towards Shoah as it was occurring, or the way many Muslims today say they oppose Islamic extremism and yet do very little to criticize, oppose, or reject Al-Qaeda, ISIS, and their ilk.

However, if it progresses beyond that and folks start burning churches and persecuting Christians...

Lots of parallels to Spanish Civil War in our current predicament.

Left-wing churches don't preach anything worth wasting the matches on.

The primary difference seems to be we won't have a leader nearly as warm and cuddly as Generalissimo Fransisco Franco...who is still dead.

The left will use every purge tactic available to destroy their opposition (us).

And there goes a "Saturday Night Live" reference from the Seventies kids.
Pay attention, so far three of us get it.

True. Started this series the other night. So far it's pretty informative and some interesting interviews from those that lived it.

It seems history repeats itself....over and over again. I used to hear stories from my father about certain religious orders here in territorial New Mexico who acted as the muscle for the Roman Catholic Church. You had one family or individuals harassing a Church member, and there would be groups of men who arrived by night on horseback to solve the problem. I can see that happening again.

"Vigilantism in the defense of Religious Liberty is no vice"

Not a quote from Barry Goldwater.

Knights Templar resurgent.
An early form of the Knights of Columbus. But instead of Bingo, they dealt in Bullets.

I have been to The Temple church that they are using for their background. Small but it was one of the highlights of our London visit.

I have been in London dozens of times, usually staying in the Victoria section. I have probably been near the Temple Church many times, and I don't recall ever hearing of it, nor did I ever visit. I'm going to have to go back and check it out.

Same here(well not dozens of times, twice). We found it by accident after have a couple of pints at the Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese pub not too far from it. We were just exploring and looking for stuff close and saw it on the map and decided to see what it was. The inside was amazing.
