I want to know the nut size of the CMMG Buffer Tube installed on the CMMG Pistol in this picture.

If you have ever removed one how hard is it to break loose from the receiver?

No experience with one, but that appears to be wrench flats machined in to the extension.

Since I don't see a CMMG wrench for pistol extensions I would assume a standard wrench size.

Assuming they didn't thread lock it, removal shouldn't be too hard with an adjustable wrench likely being up to the job. Just put it in a vise in a purpose made or ad hoc holding fixture then be careful and pay attention while turning the wrench.

Yeah, it looks like its wother a standard size, so measure it and see if you have one, or use a crescent. Someone might sell a sized wrench for it but id just use a crescent and be done with it
