Sloane, you're absolutely right. Born in London, VA's my home now. You couldn't pay me to live in the UK anymore. It's the PC, welfare, liberal, immigrant-riddled toilet of Europe now. Anyone with the means and half a brain has pulled the pin already and left the place to the Muslims. Any country where war veterans can be told not to fly their national flag because it might upset the immigrant community has completely lost the plot!

It actually breaks my heart how it has played out. When I criticise american politics here I often get the introspective never been outside the home-state "if you don't like it go home" attitude, which is a fair card to play, but my point has never been to criticise for criticisms sake, merely to point out to my american blood brothers what apathy towards social and political correctness combined with unchecked immigration will do to even the mightiest of nations. Old Blighty hasn't been invaded since 1066, but the country has been taken from the warrior anglo-saxons as convincingly as if it had been any mighty conquoring hoard.
No union jacks flying as it was nationalistic, then no hunting, no guns (not like we ever had mainstream access to handguns or highpower rifles anyway), can't call Welsh people "British"..can't deport illegal aliens anymore..Where will it end??!!

Say what? You cant even fly your own flag in the UK? Thats rediculous.

People need to constantly be reminded, especially those that are anti-gun, that gun laws are blindly aimed at the common, law-abiding citizen. The rich (powerful) and the criminals are grossly unaffected by these restrictions. All these laws aim to do is disarm the population. It makes them easier to control.

I guess some in England are still sane, but as they admit they were weak and did nothing. Still, I wholeheartedly support those that are trying now. Better late than never. Must be horrible to see your country, especially one with such a prestigious past, crumble before your eyes.

I'd say that their biggest fault in this case was seemingly viewing the issue as a loss of their sport as well as livelihood. Even the clueless bitch that promotes a gun free society only stated that they were upset over losing their sport.

What about the right to protect one's self, family, and property from both crime and tyranny? I know they don't have a second, but come on...

Sad and true. During the first Gulf war many London Boroughs banned Union Jacks from being flown and everyone capitulated. National Newspapers were directed not to put nationalistic symbols and pictures on the headlines or use phrtases like "Go Get 'em Boys" etc.. and they too capitulated.

The biggest and most regrtettable mistake was mass apathy by the real British People. The ones who love [the real] God and country, the ones who survived two world wars, Dunkirk and the Blitz, the ones that sailed 6000 miles to the south Atlantic to retake a windswept scrag of rock when everyone said that we no longer had it in us and the same ones that used to rule the waves and 2/3rds of the earth, in thinking that everyone else just "wouldn't let it get as bad as all that"... then it did. For example a pakistani who stabbed a London man in front of his son acquitted of murder since the murdered man was deemed to have had provoked the attack as he had consistently displayed "Nationalist" tendencies. (I may be corrected on the finer details of this case-but I beleive that I have the jist of it).

Just wait until you have Shia courts here in the US.

Don't ever let anyone try to tell you that patriotism is a "virtue of the wicked (Oscar Wild {Homo}) or that it is Nationalistic. If this great country of ours is worth sending our sons and daughters to die in some third world hellhole for, it is the least we can do, those of us who are not in harms way, to get off our arses when needed to protect against the "unseen" enemy who infiltrates with socialism, political correctness but is just as deadly an enemy to our way of life.
