I am trying to ID a supposed-to-be 6920 BCG. If someone has a pic of one handy, please post it. Thanks.

Basically it's an M16 BCG with a C on it's left side. I've also seen some with the Diemaco marking where the C would be.

Yeah. There's nothing unique to a 6920 bolt group.

the bolt should be marked "MP C".
some colt's bolts also have a 4th letter between MP and C...its a date code IIRC

There is only a C on the BCG. No MP or date.

on my 6920 (prepped by SAW):

carrier is marked C
bolt is marked MPC
extractor is marked C (on the inside, next to where the extractor spring goes)

There's nothing consitent about markings on Colt's Bolts and Carriers. There were even some factory carriers a while back that had NO "C" on them.

And someone contacted Colt about the Bolt markings. They claimed that Colt would not disclose what the bolt markings meant. MPC MPTC, etc.
