I don't know how he can see a 36" target at 2000+ yard, but OK. Unmodified K31 Swiss - 7.5×55mm he paid $99 for:

Ive got some trigger time on those rifles..and they are indeed superb, low recoil rifles. I shot a 100yrd group once with one youd have to see to believe.
I was just this past weekend looking at one in a lgs & lamenting how I wish I had one.
Great vid- thanks Will.

That's an easy shot. Actually I was laughing before I finished typing it. 2,240 yards is in-freaking-sane. Standing golf claps for him... well done!

I've been trying to get 1000 yards with a 10.5" AR. No luck yet.

To respect for the man. I can't hardly see the same size target at 800 yds with the naked eyes. With 24x scope, it looked about half the size of a postage stamp.

I could not make that shot if a forward air controller walked in an airstrike for me.

Forget the ability to shoot, I'd love to see that well even half as far

58 shots ?? At some point you are just throwing lead in the direction of the target and hoping you get a hit.

Depends where those other 57 went. If they were just "off" the target then still impressive as hell.

They didn't show them all, and I'll admit I scanned the video. There was at least one filmed that was 20' off.

Yea seems like one of the 1st ones on the vid was waaay left! That's a hell of a long way with Irons. I will say the target/buffalo appears pretty big but at 2240 it's still a friggin dot,LOL! I have shot my 1903A3 & many M1 rifles with irons @ 600 & that was interesting enough & once ya get a few sighters in I could hit pretty consistently, BUT at 4 times that distance I don't know if I would even be brave enough to try it let alone have a ton of people watching me! BIG congrats even if it took almost 60 shots,, still very cool!

A mild wind could carry rounds 20' left and right at that distance. You could give me 100 rounds and I might never touch that target.

Agreed. It's fun to do ridiculous stuff like this. We do it all the time. But if it takes me 10 plus rounds to get a hit, it just becomes a lucky shot.

Personally I could be there for a month straight just sending a round a second and I would still not hit anything because I couldn't see it.

I'm looking @ 1:17 and they look like a string of backstops or "other target/target stands at closer distances,, LOL,you know like normal stuff at 1000yrds or so.:D I heard them mention the Buffalo is a 36inch target, not very big for that distance,,,dam! I would think more like a 4x8 sheet of something, at least for me!

The white "thing" is the target camera if that's what you're asking. It marks it in the vid right @ 7:48. There is also a windsock/streamer behind the Buffalo and white target cam. Hard to see or make out but it's there, directly behind the red buffalo.
