Lets say you need a new extractor or some gas rings. Where do you order them from?

Just checked PA. $40 for an extractor? Is this some kinda cloner tax or covid tax or both?

I buy most of my part from BCM, Brownell's, Primary Arms, Big Tex and Forward Controls

A lot of the FN America stuff on Primary Arms is priced at a premium.

Joe Bob's. Just keep in mind like most anything else these days, lots of good ol' patriotic price gouging awaits you.

Brownells usually, but these days whoever has it in stock. Armsunlimited is also good, especially for reasonable prices on Colt and HK parts.

Priority #1 is known quality.

Purchase spares or stock ahead of time when its available and/or on sale.

Just price and availability is not the way to go.

Brownells and G&R tactical for Colt parts... Sometimes Specialized Armament if no one else has it.

I picked up 6 blaster LPK from PA back when they were on sale for $25. Wish I got more.

Fulton Armory, Aero Precision, and even Optics Planet, good sources.

Optics Planet for example, I've just gotten BCM extractor spring kits, CMMG gas rings, Aero gas tube and actin springs, from them.

If you're looking for detents and springs, Forward Controls sells spare detent and spring kits. I think they're pretty reasonably priced for the quality, and have free shipping every time I've ordered.

I normally go through Brownells but Matchez has a total rehab kit for $32 should have every thing you need.
It never hurts to have extra parts.

My answer would have been different a year or so ago. Considering the times we are in now my answer is who ever has what I need in stock.

Total novice here but bought all my OH S**T it boke and all other parts per the recommendations I got here either utilizing a site sponsor or by asking or reading replies from very well regarded and trusted numbers.
All my small parts and BCG's I bought from:
BCM,
Bravo Co.
Primary arms
Brownells
CMMG

I might have bought from 1-2 others but don't recall using anyone else. No point in putting parts of unknown quality in a otherwise quality gun.
