Good Morning Folks, Just in the interest in 'educating the masses', so to speak, I wanted to shed some light on the below noted 'EO TECH OPTIC & MAGNIFIER' COMBO UNIT. As I wasn't able to simply'cut & paste' the direct Link as would normally, I was forced to paste the actual data below. If it doesn't come out properly, please advise & I'll try something else. THIS IS VERY DISCONCERTING, ALTHOUGH I'M AWARE THAT IT'S SURELY NOTHING NEW. Anyone who isn't very well versed in the overall details of the O.E.M. Products, please pay attention, or better yet call / E-Mail EO Tech to confirm the product in question. Someone may have already hilighted this here, but I felt I should Post just to be safe. HONESTLY, THIS JUST MIGHT FOOL MANY, ONCE IT'S IN CIRCULATION. OK, here it is;

That's a $1k combo selling for less than $200...

That's my point, EXACTLY !! I just happened to browsing for something else, when I noticed what I 'assumed' to be an awsome starting Bid for a complete EO Tech unit ? As I clicked onto it to investigate, I saw they offered the combo sets in FDE also, & it wasn't a Bid price, rather a 'Buy It Now' deal. Well, anyone & everyone who is even remotely familiar with currently issued / used CQB Optics should be knowledgeable about current prices to realize that something's 'really wrong' with those prices ? BUT, again, not all of us are so familiar with the subject, so I though that in the interest of being prudent, I should at least call the Forum's attention to this issue. I will say one thing though, they do indeed appear legit products, at least form the photographs I've viewed anyway. Always remember, Caveat Emptor / Buyer Beware !!

That why you buy from a legit dealer.

Somebody's doing the same thing with Wilson Combat 1911 parts on Amazon.

Now somebody tell him about the Surefire Scout light clones, the Troy rail and iron sights, Daniel Defense rail clones, etc.... :o

Anyway, per the Eotech, yeah, this is what happened to me back when I first got into ARs; one of those "gun show special" Eotechs was my first optic. I immediately regretted that decision, and so developed a healthy allergy to anything resembling a "budget" optic for years afterward... Nothing stings like the betrayal of thinking you bought a quality item for a 'steal' price and then finding out otherwise.

Aside from the obvious clues that these are Communist garbage, this can all be avoided by not buying shitty EOTech sights to begin with.
