Sounds to me like you are asking how good being but ****ed will feel. I have never done it but I can't imagine it being any fun the first time.

There’s probably a right way to get it done but it would probably be expensive.

I believe this recent news article is very applicable here:

Massachusetts man who shipped AR-15, handgun parts to Hong Kong sentenced to federal prison

Those crimes occurred starting in 2018. Since then a lot of stuff has been taken off the US Munitions List. But yeah, you better make sure it is off the list before you ship.

I would say no once, then contact the board administration through a moderator if the request was repeated.

There's an ongoing joke on a particular communist run social media forum about "will you ship to italy?". Persistence was also one of the key traits.

Most likely it's not allowed, but for those that want to learn a little more:

Export rules are unclear, as it really looks like you might need a state department letter for practically anything. However, import rules are very well stated.

I once had a face to face discussion with a low level atf paper pusher who was getting a little field time. I asked if it was ok to export a used Colt M16/sp1 pistol grip to a particular country in Europe. She said that should be easy to discover and went online to check. Fifteen minutes later she still had no confirmation as to exportability. She admitted that it was not possible to know from what she could read on dot gov.

In her defense, the poor woman had no familiarity with guns at all. Her field trip was likely very helpful for her understanding of what we law abiding gun owners face.

Someday I will write the Dept of State a nice lengthy letter asking if I can send that pistol grip, just to see.

Don't even consider doing this. ITAR is no joke. The feds will go in dry, as will your cellmate in prison.

With the crap that’s gone down, is going down- I’d not rule out a sting, or set up.
Hard pass.

^^^THIS!!!

Just for fun you could tell him you'll ship it to Italy to be hand delivered by INTERPOL cause you are gonna put "terrorism supplies" on the customs declaration. ;)

IIRC, because it can be used on an M16 or M4, as with most AR parts, it'd be considered "machine gun parts" under ITAR.

Hard no.

If contacted again, after clearly saying no, I'd block and report.

There is no question. It's a NO.
