I like the 50yd POA/POI (IBSZ) and tend to utilize it for nearly all of my 5.56 long guns. Applies to both irons and RDS.

What does the longer barrel do to the trajectory of the IBSZ? I'll wager it isn't a whole heck of a lot but knowing would be cool.

According to what I'm seeing on Strelok, you should be able to make hits with a center hold on a 12"Wx20"H plate to 340yards with a center hold if your 55gr FMJ is going 3200fps. You'll be about 2.2" high at 160 yards and 4.6" low at 300, dropping off the plate between 340 and 350 yards.

Hopefully someone smarter can chime in and verify.

What opngrnd said. The max point blank range will be further vs a 14.5” or 16”, but nothing game-changing. The heavier the bullet, the less it matters, but you might also be able to reframe this by saying you could potentially shoot a heavier bullet to the same MPBR with less wind drift. Like, maybe you shoot 2850 62s from your 14.5”. You could drive a 69 TMK just as fast from a 20”.

The other week I went out and shot 11.5, 14.5, 16, and 20” barrels at 50, 100, 150, and 200 yards- each at their own target and each with a 50yd zero. I don’t know how to post the target pictures from my phone on here, but pm me with your email if you’re interested. Figured it out
