I need to submit that for a permanent visa for Panama. I see there's direct via FBI:

https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks

And approved one stop shop places listed:

https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/list-of-fbi-approved-channelers-for-departmental-order-submissions

There's no post offices within 50 miles of me that do the finger printing apparently (surprising but that's what it said when I put in the zip code) so I am looking to use one of the approved places that can do it all in one go.

Just wanted to ping those here with far more knowledge on such things.

Do you have to do paperwork to emigrate to central America? How ironic.

Sorry, had to be said.

I don't get the irony on that one. One can illegally "emigrate" too, and some do, but all countries require silly amounts of paperwork to do so legally.

Anyway, I got it squared away. It's all electronic these days apparently.

I believe he is referring to people treating our southern border as optional.

I'm awares, yes. It's optional if you don't wanna be legal about, but that's same for any place really. US is obviously the most high profile country in that regard.

AFIS is quicker than submitting a paper arrest card. There is also less chance for error.

Did the Sheriff's Department help you out?

Going through one of the approved places in second link. Easiest and fastest and results in a few days.

I've recommended Accurate Biometrics to Concealed Carry students in the past and they have had good results.
