Is there anything that keeps the VIS barrel nut from rotating other than torque/tension? No anti-rotation device?

i believe its a monolithic rail system, so it mounts to the upper reviever as well and bolts on there, thus there will be no movement at all.

I'm talking about the barrel nut. The barrel is attached to the VIS with a barrel nut. What prevents the nut from rotating, other than tension?

the proper torque keeps it from rotating. with the VIS you can torque it to the right value because you don't have to line up a notch with the gas tube (sometimes resulting in under or over torquing).
