View Full Version : Can't find an "Army M4 Replacement" thread

Not long ago a topic was created that linked the different competing weapons and how they compared, size-wise, against the current issue M4 Carbine. Searching for "M4 replacement" doesn't find anything, "army m4 replacement" narrows in slightly but doesn't catch that specific topic. Does anyone remember the one I'm talking about?

There have been a couple threads on replacing/comparing the M4 and the so called inadequacies of the M4, if I recall correctly. Just don't remember the exact titles.

BAC,

Click on my user name and then view my previous posts. I posted in the thread you are talking about.

I looked and couldn't find the thread you are talking about either.

Edit: Nevermind, I did it for you. https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=22347

Off-topic but not worth starting a new thread...

Thanks for posting this link...when following it I saw a thumbnail image of a muddy marine and I recognized the mud from my old duty station. The Northern Training Area (Camp Gonsalves) in Okinawa Japan. I used to be an instructor/BAS there in 1995.

Damn brought back some crazy memories. http://www.militarytimes.com/multimedia/photo/05192008_jungle_warfare/

That Endurance Course was an ass-kicker...especially the last klick...up a muddy hill...carrying a stretcher with your heaviest teamate.
