So NZ gives up guns. They have a ISIS guy from SriLanka go into a supermarket, pick up a knife from a display and put 6 people in hospital, 4 in critical condition. They had been following this guy 24-7 FOR YEARS and the only reason he got six people is that a TEAM followed him into the store and shot him in under a minute. Image how much this cost to follow this guy. And he picked up a kitchen knife on sale, no pre-motive planning. Imagine if he had just used a car and started mowing people down. This guy was known, obviously, to the cops- their Prime Minister actually knew who this guy was. Such a danger that they had a TEAM following him. But everyone in NZ had to turn in their guns. Imagine if they don’t have a team on the next guy and they don’t stop in under a minute… Oh, so let’s stop selling knives- that’s the problem….
But no one died, if he had a gun they'd be dead. And no one seems to mention that this guy had his own personal swat team assigned to him.
