Hey shooter's thought I would share with you.

I didn't see a thread already going for this and they where news to me when I found them.

Wilson Combat is now making a light weight, affordable, MLOK rail. They offer them in a few sizes, and I opted for the 12.6" version and it costs a low $119 before shipping. Speaking of, their shipping department is pretty good. Got my rail within a week and it was boxed nicely.

I dont have the rail mounted yet, but so far impression are pretty good. Barrel nut is a very tight fit to their rail. The only improvement I would suggest are anti rotation tabs like my ALG rail has.

Advertised weight of the rail was 11Oz. I chose this rail instead of a BCM and so far I'm not regretting that decision.

What kind of barrel nut does it use?

Where are these made? The site doesn't say, which often means China.

Most WC stuff is made in WC.

I don't know what that means.

It's their own proprietary one. 2" long and made of steel, and it comes with the rail along with all the screws, washer and even allen wrench for install.

I don't know what that means.

It means they're made in Arkansas. In the video below at 3:18 you seem the doing QC on a rail and at 7:22 you see them fitting in a partially machined rail into a fixture for further CNC work.

They pride themselves on making their own stuff and have been expanding to meet increased demands.

I have one of their AR10 rails coming in soon and will post a review once I have the rifle assembled.

Then I am impressed with the prices. I wish the barrel nut did not require indexing and there was some from of anti-rotation tab.

Everything I've purchased from WC seems to be high quality so I suspect you'll be pleased with the rail when you get the gun up and running.
