"Worst" may be a little harsh. Maybe "Couldn't Marketing come up with a better name than that?"

Walther Creed

Colt Expanse

Taurus Judge

Beretta 90Two (Not terrible, but I heard that even Beretta wasn't that hot on the name).

Hi Point, because if you are buying one, it might as well be a low point

Hi Point. My BIL was in a tragic stop where upon informing the officer he had a weapon in the vehicle, they secured it for the stop, and were making fun of him for it. Like, “what are you going to do with this? Pummel someone that attacks you?!”

Hi Point wins with the Yeet Cannon.

It would have been a traffic stop, but because he was carrying a Hi Point, it was a tragic stop.

Beat me to it. I'd say this falls under the category of "best names"

Be a shorter list of coming up with names in the last 20 years that aren't f'ing retarded.

I love that CCW is so pervasive in the US, but I hate the retard contingent that comes along with such success. When I was a kid I was usually impressed by some of the custom carry guns I'd see from time to time.

Now I look around and see what is tucked in a lot of belts and it's just "derp of the year" shit. Kimbers don't need scroll work or faux ivory grips with scrimshaw of the motorcycle you drive.

I've got a hand tuned 1911 BBQ Gun, but to be honest, it doesn't get half the air time as My G-17.
But then if I need a screw driver I grab my inexpensive Stanley's more often than a drawer full of Snap-On's.

Nothing wrong with customs, so long as they don't say "I'm a tard." Most people's custom guns are about as impressive as their tats.

The Turks have names like "Regard" and "Regent" for their handguns. Maybe they sound better in Turkish than English.

Reeder Custom - "1*"

Never could decide if I thought the name was "almost but not quite cool" or just retarded.

Damn nice pistol though.

Yes, but Stanley screwdrivers are "Tard" all day long and I'm 60, even I can't remember what my Tats say I'm so F'ing wrinkled.

Is that copywrited (copywritten?)? That's been used by cops all over for years, especially with the NTOA. I roll my eyes over the whole 1* thing.

Anyone using the term "shotty" should be flogged within an inch of their lives.

MSR, Modern Sporting Rifle or pretty much anything with sport in it.

I can’t even stand seeing the word sport on the side of trucks or the “S”UV’s because of how dumb the word is.

You understand why that term exists though right? I'd rather have it called a MSR or a SUR than an "assault weapon" because it's easy to get supporting legislation for assault weapons even if it is a BS "made up by congress" designation.

I prefer practical carbine, practical rifle but congress started playing word games first.

I get that but I won’t gratify the sporter clause.

I prefer just rifle or carbine. I don’t care what politicians call something.

As soon as I read the title of the thread I knew I had the winner. No one has called it yet:

PredatAR. Great gun. Completely stupid name. What the hell were they thinking over there at LaRue? That name is retARded.

When the Warrior Princesses graduated AIT I gave them each a new Beretta M9A1 with G10 grips with the “1*” patch engraved on them. I’m old school and it makes sense to me to remind them they only have one @$$-to-risk.
