Colt model question...7.62x39

I know that Colt at one time did make AR/CARs in this caliber but did they ever make one with a A3 flattop upper? I cannot seem to confirm or locate a model number.

I believe Colt offered both 16" (R6850) & 20" (6851) A3 style complete uppers to augment the former production R6830 "Sporter Lighweight" A2 style complete rifles. The uppers were marked "COLT 7.62 x 39" on the left side. I do not believe Colt offered a complete 7.62 rifle or carbine in A3 configuration however I have been wrong once before. :D
