WTF?! When I write a report, it’s generally done working 24 hours of the incident. I may not see that report again for a year to 3 years, sometimes even more. I’d likely have no idea of small details were changed by the time we got to trial.
Now, that doesn’t mean that supervisors don’t kick reports back to officers for corrections, but I’m the one that corrects mistakes and resubmits. Crazy.
