RDS for P365 XL

My dot on my 365 is not reliable and shoots high, bottom line it sux balls. What dots are available and plates if need be. Id like to mount direct.

The only real choice, IMHO, is going to be a Holosun. I currently have a 507K, which comes with the circle dot reticle, but the 407K would be a viable choice too, with just the 2 moa dot. FWIW, Holosun will be releasing the enclosed emitter EPS and EPS Carry model at some point, and I plan on replacing my 507K with the EPS so I don't have to keep cleaning lint and dust out of it. They both have the built in rear BUIS that lines up with the XL's front sight.

Though they said that when they did the 509 ACSS, they had to increase the footprint a bit because of the emitter. Don't know if it would also mean the EPS would need to be bigger if it had the ACSS.

Im hoping the EPS is decent. I tried 2 407k on my 365XL. Both would shut off spontaneously. I was able to send them back for credit towards a 508T, which works very well

Shame that Trijicon uses an oddball footprint on the CC

Does the 509T fit the P365XL? What about the PA ACSS version that is longer? I'm trying to learn about pistol red dots but still feel lost in all the various models.

I run the 507K on my P365 PB.
It’s held up to mild abuse and has worked just fine.

Negative. The only current models that fit the P365XL are the 407K and 507K (only the K models). The 509T has its own proprietary footprint. The as yet to be released EPS models will also fit the P365XL.

I have a Trijicon RMRcc custom milled on plain P365, I traded into it, otherwise Holosun would have been my choice. This is my only pistol with a red dot and the only pistol I have ever fired with a red dot, be warned it is a small window with distortion along the edges and a blue tint so to me it seems somewhat unforgiving on the range. Presentations to the wall in my house I don't notice it much at all. There's no doubt I need more time with it.

It is now on a Wilson Combat 12-round frame so I guess it is a P365X, I like the larger frame much better

I think you’ll be pleased. I was pretty impressed with the 507k. To me it had less distortion issues than the 509.
