I don't think they care, and unfortunately I don't think most people care. From what I've seen the age-70+ crowd think Biden and company, scumbags that they are, are just peachy and good upright honest Democrats as those people were brainwashed to think in the 60's or earlier. You can presents mountains of evidence of all their crime, much of which is totally opposite what the old people think Dems stand for, and you never get more than a shrug, at best.
Going younger, a huge portion of the younger crowd are "woke" and also "gimmedat" types, and whether or not they see through the Dem lies, all they care about is more gimmes and hating on white people.
Another large portion of the younger crowd are already with us to varying degrees, so it barely matters what the Dems do because they won't support them, but neither they nor anyone else has any real "red lines" to avoid crossing.
There's maybe 5% of the population that could be persuaded but is not yet against the current regime. Those few are all that's worth much effort.

Funny side story. Was in Cincy earlier this year, driving around in the morning, and the radio had what seemed like a simulcast of a local TV morning new show. It was cold, and I guess it had snowed in parts of NKY and people were sending in pics of snow, usually from their houses. So the young sounding reporter-ette says- "if you got a few inches, send us a dick pic, I MEAN DECK PIC.... " Crap you not. Wish I could have seen it, but I just heard it on the radio....

-They attack Elon's other assets to make it harder for him to finance the deal
-General stockmarket/economy slow down screws with the deal
-Legislation at the Federal or state level to attack 'Billionaires' from controlling our free speech
-Some lawsuit based on those weird stipulations that were leaked

Twitter got "Bought" in a buyout. If Liberal principals are so valued and this platform so sacred, how did it get "bought out?" Because of greed, they went public because of their "Greed" to take home a bundle of money.
Musk merely used the rules to take over, he certainly was well within the bounds of any legal statutes.
So, if you're ever asked by a Liberal how this ever happened, it was because of their greed to take the money and run. They collectively stood on no principals and took the pay day. Even in the midst's of all of this, it is not like the Liberals were busy collectively buying Twitter shares to prevent this from happening, they just quit.... and they did so in mass.

I fear you over estimate the resolve of the Uni-party as well as the outrage of the general public.
We’ve already seen the low level of resolve by those who call themselves republicans, on several fronts. Heck the minority leader may as well be a Democrat. How do you think that works as majority leader?

Conservatives on social media slammed the Biden administration after it was announced that a "Disinformation Governance Board" is being established to combat "disinformation" in the 2022 midterms.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified Wednesday that a Disinformation Governance Board had recently been created, days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased Twitter, to combat online disinformation and will be led by Undersecretary for Policy Rob Silvers and principal deputy general counsel Jennifer Gaskill.
Politico reported that Nina Jankowicz, who previously served as a disinformation fellow at the Wilson Center, will head the board as executive director.
Jankowicz suggested during the 2020 presidential election that Hunter Biden’s laptop, which has been verified by multiple media outlets, was a "Russian influence op."

Think about them setting around and deciding to go public with Twitter. Deciding it's a good idea, afterall everyone gets rich, everyone likes to be rich right?
Obviously the people using Twitter weren't buying stock, they were just using it, so when Musk comes along it was perfectly set up for him to walk away with.
