Never heard of a TV/movie script being written entirely by artificial intelligence, but maybe I don't get out that much.

THis AI stuff is so wrong. They keep trying REPLACE humans, when what they really need to do is AUGMENT humans. A car shouldn't be expected to drive itself, it should prevent us from killing ourselves doing dumb things.

Write a script? How about getting scripts that are written to not have stupid plot holes in them? FIXING scripts, not making them.

THey want AI to write news stories..... ugh... how about bias and fact checking, hell SPELL FRICKN CHECK is beyond some media's ability for some reason.

Until they can get the sex robot to ride that fine line between whore & Madonna (OG as in BC), STFU and get back in your lab.

As to an application in the area for AI, there was a lot of buzz about 'deep fakes', and the threat they posed? Threat? I'd pay someone to paste my mug onto Ron Jeremy's head. That would be a hoot!

I heard quite a bit about this when it was announced and first came out. Supposedly they want to do another one. I don't think there was anything particularly outstanding about it, just that fans of SG-1 and Atlantis were finally given something else in the franchise after the disappointing Continuum and Universe attempts.
