Thanks for the laugh.

Read about Hamadryas Baboons sometime. They organize into units on at least 3 different scales. They conduct raids on other units. They have inter-platoon brawls like 11C’s. I once observed a bunch of them coming down a craggy hill and crossing an Open Danger Area to initiate a raid on a human village. They were spread out appropriately and looked to be moving as a team.

Chimpanzees also conduct deliberate raids, probing attacks, and reconnaissance. Not sure if they do ambushes or not. They get hyped up as a group before raids, like human grunts pounding Rip-Its and blasting Metal, or football pep-rallys, and some use weapons. Like a squad of human grunts that build pseudo-familial bonds, their groups have familial bonds, a brotherhood. ****ing nuts.

You have to be a real moron to hand a chimp a loaded AK and not see what is coming.

Yeah. This is from Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Well shit, didn't know it was for a movie and not real. Of course I wouldn't put this scenario past a bunch of khat-chewing African rebels though.

Now there actually was a story about monkeys killing pet dogs in India a year or so ago. Apparently they saw dogs killing baby monkeys and set out to snatch pets and drag them to the roofs of buildings or tops of trees and drop them to their deaths. Supposedly humans evolved from primate-like animals so some deviousness is no surprise.

Yeah but no self respecting chimp would hang out with a bunch of khat-chewing African rebels. Read the comments on YT, people have been falling for this one for years. My favorite is the dim who loved that the "chimp aimed for their feet because animals are more peaceful than humans."

I'll bet you could teach a chimp to fire a weapon (especially a semi or full auto) but I'd also wager the loud noise and some "jump" from recoil and they'd drop it and run like hell. If they didn't, well Planet of the Apes it is! That one-in-a-million named Caesar......:haha:

Real African rebels would be eating that chimp or catching monkeypox from it.
