I just recently bought a .22 conversion kit for my two month old colt. Ive shot 75 rounds through it ( CCI MINI MAG) and it worked really well, then I went to change my bolt to shoot the 3 de-fouling shots per instructions, and for the life of me I cant remove the darn bolt!

Whats the gentlest way of removing this without damaging anything else?

and

How easy is it to scew up the chrome lining of the chamber? How will I know if I did?

Thanks!

Take the upper off the lower and turn it upside down. The conversion bolt will then be exposed enough for more leverage. I can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to get it out this way.

Can anyone answer the second part of my question? How hard is it to screw up the chrome lining on the inside of the chamber? How can I really tell if its messed up? How will this effect the functioning of the weapon?

Thanks!
