Saturday i am heading to a local "Gun mall", numerous dealers under one roof. I am hoping to come home with a complete lower, and I'm looking for some recommendations. I have budget constraints, so mostly need to know what to stay away from, but will take all advice. Thanks in advance.

Why does it have to be complete? Why does it have to come from this mall?

You could build a lower and pick every part that goes into it.

You could order online and get exactly what you want and not be constrained to this mall.

I basically don’t buy guns from brick and mortar locations because the owners and employees are idiots and the prices suck.

What sort of budget do you have in mind? Without that, we would be just guessing...

PSA would be my choice

I have bought a bunch of "completed" lowers for both ARs and MCXs. All of them have come from Centurion Arms.

Solid quality going that route.

My recommendation for a complete lower is always BCM. The blems are an even better deal.

Hard to go wrong with BCM. Great recommendation.

I was hoping to spend under $600, but if need be I will spend the required amount to get something of good quality.

BCM is great, and should be easy to find for well under that price.

As others have said, it’s hard to beat a complete BCM lower with PNT trigger. Also come with A5 receiver extensions, so all around top option.

And you can still have money leftover to buy a Geissele trigger (and sell me the PNT).

excellent, thanks for the assistance, much appreciated.

So $600.00 for a complete lower? I’d look into Sons of Liberty Gun Works, Sionics, BCM, LMT…. For $600.00 you could probably take home two complete lowers, if you forgo the fancy options.

This all day! There are obviously exceptions to this, but I’ll wager a “gun mall” is not one of them.

What is the likelihood of the 'gun mall' having either a BCM or Centurion complete lower?

I think the OP might be better off ordering online, or, if he doesn't want to go that route, make two trips, one to see what is available, and another to buy the consensus after he reports back.

Naming brands when we don't know if they are available doesn't do much good. It's far more likely that the complete lowers available will be Aero, Anderson, Spikes, New Frontier Armory, etc.

Ordering online and getting a Sionics, SOLGW, BCM or other quality item would be the best bet for someone who doesn't want to build their own.

OP I too strongly urge you to buy a stripped lower and Colt LPK and assemble yourself. It is a fun learning experience.

A monkey could assemble a lower and I bet you’re far smarter than a monkey.

If you are dead set on buying assembled there are good suggestions above.

Don't even think you can get a Colt stripped lower, and given that might as well go ALL BCM or similar.

Word of warning, with Pelosi and her stupid ban currently in limbo LOTS of the good stuff is gonna be sold out. Don't compromise and buy Anderson or any other z grade crap. Be willing to pay a little extra for the good stuff.

I went to a local gun show this passed Sunday. When it came to anything AR related (aside from mags and furniture) everything was a no name, likely bottom of the barrel parts. Plenty of Anderson lowers, and plenty of other stuff I have never even heard of.

I may be aging myself in regards to pricing, but two years ago I got a full complete BCM lower at Brownells for $450.

I am betting the "gun mall" isn't going to have what is being recommended here. All the brands recommended are GTG, but can be hard to find stock like BCM. Prob will see a lot of Anderson, Bear Creek, Radical, and if your lucky Aero Precision. Aero is ok, but there are better options

Your best bet is to buy a striped lower from Centurion Arms, SOLGW, ZEV etc and add a quality lower parts kit

Primary arms Does have Sionics complete lowers in stock. Code SAVE12 will get 12% off. This one has 2 stage trigger, ambi safety and magpul stock for $436

For a while LMT Defender complete lowers were a little-known excellent deal.
With or without their two stage trigger, which was a very good value as an upgrade.

An Aero complete lower is good quality and probably around $250 retail.

Like others have stated the BCM blems come around and are in the mid 300s IIRC. I bought one awhile back for an SBR build and cannot find the blem on it anywhere. Then go shopping for complete BCM uppers when you have cash and you have a really nice duty rifle.

This is my new go-to. $205 w/m4 stock, $250 with magpul. They have been good so far.

Yeah, you can get one with an M4 stock for under $200 at AR15 Discounts with their 10% off code and free shipping. Primary Arms has it without a stock for $187.
I also have an LGS that sells complete PSA MOE lowers for $150 but I'm wary of PSA.
