View Full Version : Shock-cords vs. Ranger Plates
Do mag pouches the use the shock-cords, like as TT's single mag shingles, work well with Ranger-plated mags?
they will *crush* somewhat, but I have not found them to be compromised to any extent - that being said, you can adjust the tension applied by the bungee cord.
Sure, but I have found that good single mag pouches don't need any assist device; they were made for multiple mag pouches, where you are trying to separate one from the stack.
I run the setup you are describing and it works with RP's.

Thanks guys -- I was worrying about the cords slipping off due to the angle more than anything. Sounds like that's not really a problem.
Works fine with my TT shingle - see pics. Second pic shows that there is ample stretch in the cords.
