There’s not many. CMT has some, FCD has a slight variation that CMT produces for them. I just got an SLR Ion because as much as I like FCD, I prefer 7-sided MLOK rails. The SLR seems solid and is very well machined.

Rails that are nominally 12”, including the poorly named DDM4 12.0”, are usually ~12.5” and will not play nice with 12.5” barrels. The longest rails that work well are:
Larue Quad or LAT 11”
KAC URX4 10.75”
BCM QRF10
SLR 11.7”
Triarc Wedgelock 11.5”
FCD/CMT RHF 11.5”
Troy Battlerail 10.75”
Midwest 11.5”
G Mk8/16 10.5”
DD M4/MFR/MFR XL 10”
Aero 10.7”
My preference is Larue or KAC. All of the above 10.0” and 11.0” rails are slightly longer than advertised. Some have built in swivels, some don’t. Most MLok rails are skinny as ****.

There is currently an SLR Helix 11.7” offered in the equipment exchange.

I wanted a 12.5” barrel because I want to try a 12.5” mid length but the lack of rail selection has caused me to settle on a 11.5”.

The best I’ve seen, and what I’m doing is a 13.5” Geissele mk16 cut down to ~11.75”

I know this is not what you’re asking. But when I went in search of what you are, this was my conclusion.

LaRue makes an 11" MLok rail... Pretty good deal at $135 I think.

Still one of my favorite rails even if it’s a little “dated” by today’s standard. Still a rock solid mounting solution, it seems like in the last 10 years M Larue has gotten a lot of hate, especially since 10 years ago he was king of the cats meow in mounts and rails.

Here's the FCD rail on a 12.5 barrel that I just assembled. The flash hider is not timed yet, just threaded on. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220912/7783d41aa4b5bb3b96abe51a176b44e9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220912/bcde73762060e8d55a68d9f953388696.jpg

They are good rails, but people are reporting like 1 year wait times on some of the lengths

oh hell no! I'm sorry, I didn't know that!

That's unacceptable. I remember waiting 18 months for my 7.62 OBR but that was immediately after Sandy Hook. There is no excuse for that today.

It's not M-Lok, but about the longest practical for a 12.5 is the "unicorn" DD RIS-II GL/SSC at 11.79". The alternate option for anything longer is to use a linear comp or a fat handguard and a blast-shield.

It’s an 11” not 11.5”. I use V7 rails on all of my precision rifles because they’re solid with minimal deflection when loading a bipod or using a sling or barricade supported shooting. Not sure if they’re considered Tier One or not, but they work.

EDITED TO ADD: you could do the 2099 11.1” ultralight m-lok rail.

Appreciate all the info. I spoke to Surefire and they told me that an 11.75" rail would work without any issues with a 12.5 bbl a Warcomp and a SF SOCOM RC2, so I will probably get a Geissele and cut it. Thanks!

Just gotta gloat, don'cha? :P It only came up in context of noting that maximum feasible rail/HG length seems to run around 3/4" less than barrel length unless you want to permanently install a linear comp. (I'm looking at the RHF4 11.5 around a Rosco Bloodline as a "faux" version.)

OP, Forward Controls Design's M-lok RHF comes in 11.5". https://www.forwardcontrolsdesign.com/RHF_p_137.html

DOGGONIT, Stick. That’s about the only quad setup I actually “want.” Mostly because I can’t have it.

If you can find an aac square drop rail they came in I believe 11.7". Thats what I used on a 12.5 mid, but it is keymod not mlok.

CMT 11.5" HDM and DRT rails are in stock right now, direct from CMT.

I ended up with a CMT HDM for a 13.9 that I just finished and shot today, back to back with the SLR on my 12.5. I think I like the CMT better, though the only objective reason for that is because the BCM rail panels fly off of the SLR. I've never seen that before. I prefer integrated QDs, but still, something about the CMT just feels better. I don't want to go through the hassle but may replace the SLR with a HDM.
