He should have just claimed to be a member of the Taliban when they caught him

When we came back from Desert Storm there were a "few" pairs of night vision googles missing.
The Funniest story I heard out of that is that a year later, one of our Troops was then a State Cop. He pulls over a guy drving at 80+mph with no light on, wearing one of the pairs of night vision goggles that were missing when we redeployed.
The world is nuts.

Maybe they’ll arrest Obama and Biden.

Honestly Obama fitted ISIS out with everything including tanks and Biden hooked up Al Quida with everything including helos. When do their trials start?

Curious question as I have never used military comms, but what are folks going to do with the radios? Do those work on amateur frequencies? Are there any intelligence worries about the lose of the radios? I am just trying to figure out who the customers would be like for those stolen radios.

Are they going to track down each person who bought a night vision scope on eBay and make them give it back?

29 years in the Army, and all the thieves think they are the smartest. The dumbest smart thief, though, was a fresh 2ndLT in the 101st Division Finance that thought he could embezzle money like no one before. He couldn't. LOL

No I haven’t, but I did see a YouTube short of their “parade” where they seem to allegedly now possess SCUD’s ….

Army CID specifically went after folks that purchased stolen NODs from the TOS' EE. They busted a few vendors on TOS selling stolen goods, went through the sales records via account PMs, found the buyers, and showed up at their listed addresses and produced documentation showing they're stolen goods and confiscated them as evidence.

And people wonder why I never joined TOS?

In the buyers' defense. The vast majority didn't know they were stolen goods.

They may not know, but it is evidence all the same. I do think it is unfair that the customer of such unknown shenanigans loses out on money and property. I guess they could sue the criminal for their money, but good luck obtaining recompense. Only solution is to be very clear on where you are purchasing stuff versus the cliched speakers out the back of a van trope. This way you are never a victim of such things.

$2.1M is nothing when you consider the Billions we threw away to the enemy in AStan.
