Built this a while ago and just picked up this FN stock.

Which is better?

A2 stock?

Make it an A5 and enjoy your functionality. Keep the fixed stock for a clone. Just my opinion.

Yes it is an FN A2 stock from the Shark man.

I don’t clone and I don’t have a rifle with an A2, so I am leaning toward the A2 on this 20” rifle.

I like option b.

A1 or A2 stock. Why? Because that is what the good Lord intended.

For whatever it's worth, I like fixed stocks on 20" rifles, so I'd choose the A2 if it were me.

A lot of people say A1 is the perfect length stock. Not sure where you can buy one though other than using old Vietnam era M16 parts.

Exactly my thoughts!

A2

I’ve always preferred a real stock to collapsable stocks on my rifles.

A1s for me for fun & hunting, even on 16" barrel.

I’d just go with whatever I liked best, even if it’s None Of The Above. Shoot both and see.

Vltor EMOD gets my vote.

Thanks for the input everyone.

I decided to give the FN A2 a whirl for now.

It also frees up the E-mod as well as a complete VLTOR rear end for another build.

I vote UBR 2.0
