Has anybody tried to mount a decent sling to a SLR-106 yet? I'm wondering what is the best technique? I was originally considering just mounting a Vickers Tactical/ Blue Force Gear two point to the existing rear sling mount and buying a hook attachment for the front (BFG has AK front hook attachments available, you just have to call them because they are not listed on the website).
The problem is the stock rear sling mount is on the wrong side of the weapon. It also looks like it was intended for nothing more than slinging the weapon over your shoulder when the stock is folded. That’s not going to work.

BFG had originally recommended this set-up for a fixed stock AK:

I'm wondering if there is enough space for the stock to fold & lock if I go with this set-up? I'm hoping one of you guys has already fought this battle.
