SLR seems to have a pretty solid reputation.

I've read good things about the Aero Precision blocks. Half the price of others. https://alpineriflesupply.com/product/aero-precision-adjustable-gas-block/

I haven't tried a bad AGB. I think I've only tried 2 or 3. SLR is good. But really... the BRT tubes are the way to go.

I really like the riflespeed and superlative arms gas blocks.

Are any of you guys actively adjusting the blocks? I ask because every block we've run gets set once and never adjusted again... thus the tube making more sense to me.

That makes sense. I'd bet that the majority don't adjust though. I know we're too lazy to mess with it after finding the preferred setting.

My SLR Ti set screw AGB has been solid on my suppressed 11.5" (100% suppressed). Approaching 4k rds; all NATO pressure.

I have only adjusted my SLR Ti two or three times in just under 4k rounds.

As you observe, they are not to be manipulated like a gearshift lever in a car. Rather, there are like an alignment adjustment.... set properly and then left the F alone.

There was some other gas block thing that came out not too long ago. There was a thread here about it maybe 6 months back. Hand adjustable or some such thing.

If you simply need to reduce gas for dedicated suppressed or even 50/50 suppressed use, our EZTUNE gas tubes (https://blackrivertactical.com/WP/Adjustable-Gas-Drive-c6464009) are a great solution.

Big thumbs up for the eztune gas tubes as I just bought 3 of them for my DD 7" PDW, 10.3" MK18, and 18" V7 Pro. All work perfectly and eject 3-4 o'clock. Adjustable settings on my gas blocks would carbon up and hard to move and added more time trying to clean them. Glad I made the switch.
