Inexcusable, and its the first thing you see on their page. They made a first impression with me, but its not a good one.

A southpaw model?

Not a southpaw model. It’s normal side ejection but their photo or photoshop shows the reverse of the upper receiver. Every other pic shows the normal left side, not one with an ejection port.

My guess is somewhere along the lines of Stick being appalled as a professional photographer that the company would let something like that get by.

I'm more offended by the $2795 price tag.

Yes, its like taking your wedding picture and hanging it upside down because you don't see a difference. That sort of attention to detail is all consuming. I certainly make mistakes, but this one is reprehensible. Its almost as bad as when the dumba$$ at Magpul put the pic of the polymer front sight on a railed gasblock as a large pic in the catalog.

Some mistakes are just ..... bad.

I would be happy if it were so.

That reminds me of a gunsmith in Salem that has a mirror image of a 1911 on his sign/logo. Back when I still went in there I told him it must be modeled after a Randall, he was not pleased.

I see lots of flash and very little substance.

All I see is aesthetic "styling," a Gucci Gun for those with more dollars than sense who "just have to be different."

Hard Pass here.

Yeah that's Knights and LMT territory. Sheesh.

There is plenty of room for Gucci guns, but they need to be promoted correctly, and its hard to get into the game and actually carve out a niche. Anyone remember War Sport? They had a great start, but blew it.

You've got to hand it to LMT, they are relevant in the AR world in spite of the minimal marketing they actually do. If they tried even a little bit, I think they could have easily taken over the position Colt has in the market.

Absolutely, Stick. It's both impressive and I, too, see it as a huge missed opportunity. If LMT wanted that kind of growth....

Oh and as a retired LE Forensic professional (images/video/audio), I echo your earlier thread comments about the mirrored image. Just disgusting.

Actually the original owner/creator of War Sport seemed to be doing very well and had a new facility built in his town, maybe just outside. I toured it just after it was up and running. It was a huge improvement from the shed in his back yard he started in. Joey told me they were going to be ramping up to produce ammunition. Not long after he got an offer to buy and sold it. It was the new owners that seem to have dropped the ball. Nevertheless, yeah it seems to be hard to start and make something of yourself.

I knew I liked you for good reason. I'm trying to remember the name of the dude who taught video 15 or 20 years ago. I want to say he was out of the NE, and had a foreign name. I was in one of his classes being a newly stood up TL for Recon, and he put on a good course. Sadly, I was with a bunch of state weenies who were from an organization which investigated OJIs.

Anyway, a lot of emphasis was put on bodily fluids, and when we did scenes at a hotel he showed how to tell when women spit semen instead of swallowing, and how you could find the patterns in hotels by the beds. I thought 80% of the class (females) were all going to storm out. Great class, and the guy was pretty solid with real info.

Yeah, I'm part of the "finish your sandwich, next to the dead body, while they finish the laser scan" kinda crowd. Lol.

Was the director of a Lab that did media forensics, but I got exposed to all of it. Fully sworn in all my duties, so pretty rare in that. OIS Team, Child Abduction Response, assisted JTTF and the Marshals (all the feds). Was also part of the Felony Fugitive Unit. Didn't get out with them for goon sh*t as often as I liked, though.

Any major incident in Central FL that occurred between Jan '15 and Jan '20, I was involved in. Also a bunch of fed stuff and got dragged into Parkland, after the fact.

I loved everything as long as it didn't involve a ton of advanced decomp. Lol

EDIT: I retired in Jan '20 after a tech giant successfully recruited me. I don't regret the jump, TBH.

(read this in the voice of Fred Thompson as DA Arthur Branch on Law & Order) "Yeah, everybody says that..."

This thing looks tailor-made for Hollywood.
