+P barrel markings

The Remington RP9 (which is pretty much an obscure footnote by now) has a barrel that is marked "9mm Luger +P". Considering how beefy the slide is, it might need +P ammo just to run normally.

Can't recall any other handguns that are marked "+P". Any thoughts?

I have a S&W 342 so marked, but it's not 9mm.
