I asked alot of questions and did a ton of reading. This is what I came up with for my frst bolt gun.
Remington 700 LTR in .308
Leupold Mark 4 4.5-14x 50mm Illuminated TMR reiticle
Leupold Mark4 Medium rings
Leupold Mark4 base (20moa built in)

Accessories:
2 cases of Hornady .308 168 gr AMAX Tap
Eagle stock pack
Harris Bi pod BRM-S with pod lock
Eagle DB-BS case and pad
Dewey rod, bore guide
Butch's bore shine

I got it zeroed at 100 yards on the 23rd. I am learning a ton and there is so much more to learn. We are limited with distance down here in S. FL, but there are some long ranges 600 and 1,000 2 to 2.5 hours north.

Thak all of you guys for your input and patience. I can talk you to sleep on the M4/ AR series, but this is a new exciting time for me.

Merry Christmas,
Jack

I just noticed in the picture you see my christmas present from my wife, 10 new P-mags. She is awesome. She got me the LTR for my birthday in November and the P-mags for Christmas. (yes she does have a sister.)

Very nice. It reminds me of the setup I ran on my LTR.
