I lived at Quantico as a dependent kid (1986-90), I used to hunt there too.

Range 305 is open tomorrow 11/26/06 (0800-1600hrs) to QSC members and their guests. I'll be there 10-11ish shooting my recently finished 3gun rifle as well as a few other rifles. 305 goes out to 500yds.

This is how my 3gun AR ended up. I'm hoping one of my co-workers brings his chrono so I can figure out my exact ZERO using a ballistic calculator.

It is brother Luke! Not really, if you show up tomorrow I'll let you put some rounds through it. :D I'll be shooting a suppressed Noveske AR and Rem 700 too (but you're probably used to those).

Some pics yesterday from 305. Voodoochild definately join the Quantico Shooting Club, it's price is going up to $80/yr but it's worth it, the ranges are open quite a bit. I think 305 will be open again on this coming Sunday. If it is indeed open, I'm 90% sure I'll be going so if you want to go as a guest of mine let me know. The RSO (range safety officer) will charge you $10 as a guest when you arrive.

That might be what we heard/felt about 3 weeks back. At the shop in Manassas we could feel and hear the bldg vibrate as something large was being fired. We thought it might have been 105s or 155s at Quantico. When I lived with my dad down in Jacksonville NC, you could feel the house shake when they were firing mortars and Howitzers on base.
