My last range trip, about 2 months ago...my back was out bad that day..but it was a gorgeous windy, cool bright blue day so my gf & I hit the the range.
I literally sat in a chair at the 50 yard line and shot most of the time from there, seated, but unsupported.
Im gonna tell you...shooting at a standard size steel torso from there..you gotta be on your P's & Q's.
Using both 124gr +P GD's & HST from my Shield and G19 & her excellent Walther PPQ...him doing that under duress was outstanding shooting.
My Shield, I was missing and could not figure out where I was hitting. Finally..if I took a 5:00 hold on the edge of the steel...BAM, center hit every time.
From 25 on in..dead on. The Glock & Walther were spot on. Gotta practice at distance more. Im gonna devote more time to 75-100 this spring.

According to this article, Dicken used a Glock 19 with standard sight that had actually been mangled in a motorcycle accident, weeks prior, and been filed down to make them functional again. His magazine was loaded with full metal jacket Blazer brass ammunition. No special training. No charges.
