View Full Version : Source for Winchester Ranger Ammunition
Just wanted to share an excellent experience I had with MAHSupplies (http://www.mahsupplies.net/). Anyone looking to purchase Winchester Ranger Ammunition should consider ordering through Mike. He shipped fast, had excellent communications, and ensured a minor problem with an order was taken care of expeditiously and at no cost or inconvenience to me. I'll be using him again in the future.
He's kind of expensive, though. I buy 9mm 147-gr bonded (RA9B) from another online supplier for $6.60 less per box of 50.

Been buying ammo from Mike for years now. Agree with your statement.
I buy my Ranger from a guy in Florida name Jerry Kirkpatrick. His e-mail is
jwkpatrick@yahoo.com
He is an ammo dealer, last month I bought Ranger 55grn 223 from him for $12 per box including shipping to Oregon. If you e-mail him, he will advise as to what he has in stock. Great guy to deal with.
This has to be just about the scarcest ammo around. I've been trying to find it for ~2 months now without any luck and I need to repenish my supply. I still have some of the original Black Talon left for my CCW.
Personally I prefer Federal HST but always keep a stock of Ranger on hand in 127P+P for 9's, 230 bonded for 45's and the 55 soft point for my AR's. Besides the two listed there is a large dealer in South Carolina that carries it, Surplus Ammo in Seattle usually has some and Ammunition to Go has some. I usually just do a Google search for the caliber I want and have been fairly successfull that way.
I have bought Ranger Ammo from here.......

He is a good guy to deal with. His website states they he is currently out of .45 but is expecting more in soon.
Just a quick head's up for anyone who might read this thread and not be completely clued in on Ranger ammo:
Know beforehand what you're looking for and what you're buying with regards to Winchester Ranger handgun ammo. There's a big difference between Ranger T-series and Ranger Bonded. Be sure to identify the product numbers. For example: RA9T is 9mm 147 gr. T-series; RA9B is 9mm 147-gr. bonded; and Q4364 is 9mm 147-gr. "+P" (the new "FBI load").
