This one is simple as can be. 6920 upper with carry handle. The only "improvements" are the Ergo grip and Magpul enhanced trigger guard.

Couple LE6920 SOCOM's. Both labeled "2013 Configuration". Top one was actually purchased in 2013 (at Wal-Mart, of all places) and the bottom one in late 2018. Bottom one has the newer "PROPERTY OF US GOVT" markings and the older one just says "M4A1 CARBINE". Bottom one shipped without rail covers so I contacted Colt and they sent me a package. Both are unfired (by me anyway) but the newer one came with some sort of accuracy pass/fail tag.

Old work gun on day 2 of Az POST patrol rifle instructor course. Factory Colt 6920, KAC RAS handguard, and a Steiner P4Xi in an ADM mount. Served me well for 10 years.

New work gun. Factory Daniel Defense M4V7s 11.5 inch, Huxwrx can, Eotech EXPS2, Arisaka 18650 light with Modlight OKW head. Only had this rifle a few months but it is a sweet shooter.

I built a very similar rifle a few years back, even had the Tango Down hand guards, and an Aimpoint PRO. I’m working on building another as we speak. I have a KAC MRE inbound this week.

Stick, I tried to take some quick Photos for your thread with my iphone, but it wouldnt let me copy over to imgur due to "poor image quality" but the pics looked great. I got a couple through, maybe I go outside. Any ideas? Never seen this before.

Nice guns, I can see em ok. I like that surefire in the Vltor mount, clean and comes right off if you want to.

Beautiful! In a perfect world, I would have more KAC NT4s on my guns. I really like them. I had one on a black MK18 RIS2 URG, and someone accidentally gave the entire upper away LOL. Seriously, I have to laugh because strange things happen to me. Great guys involved, and I'm not angry in the least. It went to a good home.

Waiting on my Reptillia mount for the Trijicon RMR. I decided to turn this rifle in to a somewhat DMR.

Edited to add: I bought this rifle from a coworker. His father recently had a massive stroke so he is taking care of estate business and offered this rifle to me. Barrel date is stamped ‘07.

I found a hell of a deal on Schmid long/short ambi safeties, so I went wheat and bought enough to change out all my rifles. Just recently I stopped in a Cabelas to check out their ammo selection. Ended up leaving with a Magpul MOE-SL and SL-K stock. I will be replacing all my current stocks with the MOE-SL. Absolutely solid stock, minimalist, great check weld.

It might not look as cool, but you just don't find the operator or hardware issues when you use the push button on the base of the light. The only time I use a cord is when its a setup just for pictures.

It feels a bit larger than the RIS 2, which isn't really a bad thing, but it certainly has a different feel in the hand than its older sibling.

Not the best lighting, but this has been an accurate and reliable workhorse.

Parts on the way is a top-mounted Holosun 508T-RD X2 and, in the longer term, a PEQ unit.

Painted over the original bronze-ish Cerakote with Alumahyde II, which has been holding up quite well.

Yes, added the KAC spacer from ADCO. I like the spacer better than extended flash hider to make it legal

Colt 6933 upper - police trade in

These popped up on a site that I’ve used to buy other trade in items.

It’s seem some use, but not bad. The Magpul sight and GGG FSB sling swivel/1913 mount is a nice bonus.

The C is visible on the bolt carrier. The BCG passes the gas ring test.

Crud in try barrel extension, for sure.
