I think I was about 10 years old when I saw Fantastic Voyage several years after it was originally released. May she rest in peace.

I don't know about that, but she was great to look at !

In a way that was her handicap. She knew she was beautiful but actually wanted to be an actress. So she attempted to do serious films that didn't simply bank on her beauty, that of course led to her doing many disastrous films such as Myra Brenckinridge. She sort of had the Monroe curse.

But beyond that, at least she was a decent person, actually did USO stuff in Vietnam unlike that other actress who decided to go support the commies. And yeah, she was great to look at, but she wanted more than that. I hope in her last years she felt that she achieved the things she wanted from life.
